Service Grid for Business Computing

In this chapter, we will introduce an advanced topic of grid computing – Web services-oriented grid for business computing. Web services represent a new concept of computing that enables diverse and distributed resources to communicate with each other based upon a set of standards. We will discuss what values the marriage of Web services and grid computing can bring to business computing and the current state of the art of the field.
