Encapsulation is the captured essence of the prime moments in a story. While a story is never always presented in its entirety, the way the parts of a story are presented can influence the way it interacts with an audience. While this term is typically used in reference to graphic novels, art tells its stories in much the same way. An artist’s work communicates their experiences and perspectives without ever telling the whole story.
