Fabrications

Future Tenant presents Fabrications, a group visual art exhibition. "Fabrication" can refer to many things; a story concocted with the goal of deception; a manufacturing process; a construction from raw materials. In this showcase of talent from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Art Undergraduate Students, there is recurring emphasis on subtle narratives and stories woven from paint, thread, and wood. The tactile quality of the work tempts the viewer to explore the structure and to appreciate the various textiles and textures.
