The "Taking a Painting" Project

Erika Stearly presents a re-mount of her graduate thesis at Indiana University, an interactive painting installation made up of several hundred small paintings on paper. Viewers are invited to help themselves to a complimentary painting and to participate in the creation of works that will be incorporated into the installation. With the goal of maximizing community involvement, this project is designed to level the boundaries between artist, viewer, and collector.<div><br></div><div>March 24 - 30, 2014</div>
