Dungeons & Dreamers follows the designers, developers, and players who built the virtual games and communities that define today’s digital entertainment landscape and explores the nature of what it means to live and thrive in virtual communities.

This translation was done by Toru Hiramatsu.

He graduated from the Osaka University of Foreign Studies with a degree in German and intercultural communication as his sub major. After graduating, he engaged in localizing (i.e. translating into Japanese) music software’s user manuals and software resources at Cameo Interactive, Ltd. as an Apple certified service engineer. After that, he worked for a publishing company called SHOEISHA as an editor, translation, and proofreader. In 2000, he started his career as a freelance translator and editor. Now he is working for a software developer as a bug hunter of an MMO while continuing translation of music magazine articles, software online help files, and Web pages.
