For several years, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Libraries have been working with colleges and departments across campus to utilize the Symplectic Elements Research Information Management (RIM) system for various use cases. The Libraries and the University are interested in promoting the use of a single RIM system that will capture and track CMU research-related activities for various reporting and other use case purposes. This article explains the efforts to convert the Tepper School of Business to the Elements system for several use cases.
