Mind the gap: Building bridges between student research and library technology with BilioTech Labs

Developing innovative technologies can be a difficult task for small to medium academic libraries where resources for new technological development are limited. At our university, we've implemented a program, BiblioTech Labs, whereby we partner with undergraduate researchers in the School of Computer Science to solve library technology problems. In this session we discuss our program, future plans, and how libraries can use this model to leverage local technology education to help solve technology problems.
