The project focuses on utilizing Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) to solubilize flavones as they are highly insoluble in water. By exploring various molar ratios of proline to glycerol eutectic solvents, we determined the optimal solvent (1:3 ratio) for flavone solubility. Kirby-Bauer Disc assays demonstrated no inhibitory effects on E. Coli C600 bacterial cells, in addition to the validation of the Bactobox for viable count measurements. These findings contribute to the development of novel approaches in combating antimicrobial resistance, highlighting the significance of utilizing NADES in pharmaceutical research.
