Exploring Obesity Factors: A GIS Analysis of Qatar

 As obesity rates continue to rise globally, understanding the contributing factors is more important than ever. This study uses Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis to explore the factors that contribute to obesity in Qatar. Through a comprehensive analysis of data on factors such as to healthy/unhealthy food options, access to gyms and parks, this study sheds new light on the root causes of obesity in Qatar. The results of this study have important implications to address the obesity in the Qatar and beyond. The study also offers a direction for future research.
