Fibromyalgia (FM) is a chronic condition that causes widespread pain, fatigue, and cognitive difficulties. Because there is little research on FM, patients often struggle to get an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. FM appears most commonly in older women across different populations, including Korean, Southern Spanish, and Saudi Arabian groups. In this study, we used computer modeling to investigate small genetic changes linked to FM. By predicting how these mutations affect protein structure, stability, and function, we hope to identify new biomarkers. These biomarkers could make diagnosing FM easier and improve future treatments.
