2024 Accelerating Green Steel Workshop Proceedings

The Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation hosted a Research Workshop on Accelerating Green Steel at Carnegie Mellon University, which gathered experts on iron and steelmaking from around the globe on November 13-14, 2024. The workshop was co-hosted by the Center for Iron and Steelmaking Research (CISR). The workshop brought together representatives of eighteen organizations (see Participating Organizations) with iron and steel production spanning six continents and representing roughly a quarter of global steel production.
