Development of High Bs Fe-Ni Based Metal Amorphous Nanocomposite by Optimization of Glass Forming Ability
This thesis is entitled “Development of High Bs Fe-Ni Based Metal Amorphous Nanocomposite by Optimization of Glass Forming Ability” In this Introduction section I lay out the thesis content in the context of the materials paradigm followed by the current technological and scientific motivation for the work. This is followed by a historical introduction to Metal Amorphous Nanocomposite (MANC) materials and a discussion of the Fe-Ni phase diagram which provides the thermodynamic basis for the choice of Fe-Ni-based MANCS as the subject of this thesis research. Finally, an introduction to the synthesis methods for MANC materials is presented.
