This file contains data representing atmospheric and soil variables measured on the Hamerschlag Hall Green Roof (HHGR) on the Carnegie Mellon University campus at 5-minute intervals between July 2019 and May 2023.

The Hamerschlag Hall Green Roof is an extensive green roof (soil depth < 15cm) that was established in 2005 on Carnegie Mellon University’s campus in Pittsburgh, PA. The data was collected using a weather station (ATMOS 41), a soil moisture sensor (TEROS 12), and a data logger (ZL6). All readings were measured every minute and the 5-minute average or sum was reported, depending on the variable of interest. Any missing values were forward filled.
