In this article, the
authors discuss the reasons for implementing a music scores approval plan and
eventually ending it; the parameters of their plan; the method used to collect
and analyze data to determine its effectiveness; how the approval plan impacted
their budget, cataloging responsibilities, and space on the shelves; and
whether or not it would make sense to reinstitute the plan in the future.
