Cloud Migration: Fundamentals and Challenges

This paper provides a high-level overview of cloud terminology and functionality, discusses how to plan a cloud migration properly, outlines how to identify the requirements for cloud migration and select an architecture based upon organizational business needs, and identifies common migration activities, challenges and mitigations aimed at providing a management-level understanding of the effort associated with cloud migration projects.
